Job Description

This position is responsible for the receiving and disposition of all products returned for credit, service/repair, evaluations, loaner pool, rental program, etc. In addition, this position is accountable for problem solving, solution identification, and deadline attainment of issues related to the above as assigned within the Returned Goods (RG) Department.

Receiving and preparing instrumentation returned for sterilization in accordance with established sterile processing practices and standards. Loading and unloading instruments from sterilizers in accordance with established procedures. Performing and/or assisting with manual decontamination activities and wipe down processes which render product clean and safe for handling, in accordance with department standards and generally accepted decontamination practices. Accurately recording data in the Oracle Service Depot system
for Customer and Company owned product to identify, account for, and effectively manage all items received and processed through sterilization. Accuracy of this information is essential and tracked as part of quality assurance. Accurately completing and filling paperwork such as RG, regulatory, service and repair Distributing products to correct cell, factory and/or inventory location. Processing work through established procedures in support of the repair processes for all incoming/outgoing product- disposition, data entry, billing, packaging, shipping. Participating in team meetings and representing the team at other meetings. Rotating through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment when necessary. Performing other tasks including, but not limited to 5S, housekeeping, safety and cleaning. Participating in continuous improvement activities. Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.

Work experience requirements:
This position requires one-two years related experience in at least one of the following: Computer/Data entry Skills and/or Warehousing/Material handling.

Education requirements:
High School or related level of diploma.

Knowledge requirements:
-Good Computer Skills
-Good written and verbal skills
-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
-Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
-Ability to rotate as needed through a variety of manufacturing processes and tasks in a team environment.
-Ability to function in a high-performance work team environment.

Physical requirements:
-Ability to lift 30 lbs.
-Ability to stand for two hours at a time.
